Road to Argentina Space 2026 made its stop in Santa Fe with broad cross-sector participation

Business leaders, professionals, representatives of chambers of commerce and institutions took part on Saturday, 10 October, in the Road to Argentina Space 2026 Pre-Congress, one of the preparatory stages on the way to the main event, to be held on 11, 12 and 13 November in Salta.

Santa Fe thus became one of the stops on the road to Argentina Space 2026, an initiative that seeks to broaden participation and connect companies, professionals, institutions and knowledge players with the opportunities opened up by an industry increasingly linked to economic and technological development.

The day brought together managers and company representatives, professionals from different disciplines, chambers of commerce and institutions who came to learn what it means today to be part of the space industry and what possibilities are beginning to emerge around this new ecosystem.

Much more than satellites

Talking about the space industry no longer means thinking only about satellites, launches or aerospace developments. The technological revolution is transforming production, communications, education, services and the economy, and in that scenario the space sector is increasingly connected to artificial intelligence, telecommunications, data, software, innovation, research, financing and new value chains.

One of the most important aspects of the meeting was precisely the diversity of those who took part. People from very different sectors were able to meet, share experiences, ask questions and begin to discover how their knowledge, services or capabilities can also become part of this industry.

That is one of the challenges Road to Argentina Space sets out to meet: bringing closer an activity that often seems distant, and showing that behind every space milestone there is an extensive network of companies, professionals, technology, production and talent.

A true pre-boarding

The Santa Fe event worked as a true “pre-boarding”: a first chance to gather part of the crew that is getting excited about the possibility of learning about, taking part in and becoming part of the ecosystem Argentina Space seeks to set in motion.

The day was driven and supported by Natalia Ocampo, Ezequiel Zvirgzdins and Alejandro Temporetti Olivera, Argentina Space 2026 ambassador and space law specialist, who have been promoting the involvement of new players and the building of ties between the business, professional, academic and institutional sectors.

Next destination: Salta

The next destination will be Argentina Space 2026, on 11, 12 and 13 November in Salta, where players from the space industry, innovation, knowledge and technological development will come together.

The Santa Fe stop sent a clear signal: there is interest, enthusiasm and capabilities ready to connect. In the midst of a technological transformation that is redefining industries worldwide, building those ties is also the first step in discussing what place Argentina can occupy in that process.
