The Santa Fe Regional Integration and Development Forum will drive provincial participation in Argentina Space 2026
Carlos Clemente and Alejandro Temporetti Olivera held a working meeting to coordinate the presence of business leaders, universities, academic institutions and technology sectors from Santa Fe at the event to be held in Salta.
The president of the Santa Fe Regional Integration and Development Forum —FIDR—, Carlos Clemente, held a working meeting on Wednesday with Dr. Alejandro Temporetti Olivera, a lawyer specialising in space law, international consultant and ambassador for Argentina Space 2026, who recently returned from a six-month tour of the United Arab Emirates, Europe and the United States, where he took part in several space industry events, with the aim of advancing a shared agenda of regional integration, business development and institutional engagement around the event.
During the meeting, the Forum made its territorial and institutional structure available to support the arrival of Argentina Space in Santa Fe and the region, promoting exchange with business leaders, universities, academic institutions, sectors linked to technological development, professional organisations and players across the Santa Fe productive fabric.
The meeting was an opportunity to share the conceptual and strategic foundations of Argentina Space 2026, which will take place on November 11, 12 and 13, 2026 at the Salta Convention Center. The event is conceived as a business, industry and innovation hub bringing together companies, startups, universities, public agencies, investors and strategic players of the new space economy, through exhibitions, seminars, conferences, business rounds and networking spaces. This is an agenda that no longer belongs to the scientific field alone, but also to the world of production, investment and regional development, with the goal of connecting existing Argentine capabilities with concrete opportunities for productive development, commercial expansion and integration into growing technological and industrial value chains.
In that context, Clemente and Temporetti Olivera agreed on the importance of Santa Fe taking an active part through its university, scientific, industrial, technological, metalworking, agribusiness and services fabric. The province has strategic capabilities that can connect with the new space economy, especially in areas such as software, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, digital infrastructure, engineering, automation, energy, applied science and technical services.
For its part, the Santa Fe Regional Integration and Development Forum — which has been advancing an agenda tied to regional development, training, youth employment, innovation and the strengthening of networks between the public, private, academic and community sectors — presents itself as a strategic ally to drive Santa Fe participation in Argentina Space 2026, bringing institutions, companies and territorial players with the capacity to contribute to the region's productive and technological development closer to the event.
“Santa Fe has universities, companies, knowledge, industry and talent. Our commitment from the Forum is to help build bridges so that this regional capacity can also be present in an agenda for the future such as Argentina Space”, they said after the meeting.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to move forward with new joint working stages to bring the Argentina Space 2026 proposal closer to business leaders, academic institutions, professional organisations, technology referents and productive development players from Santa Fe and the region.
