About
Aixa Benítez is a software developer working at the intersection of software, territory, space and cyber defence. She designs geospatial architectures and automates satellite data workflows with a clear purpose: strengthening the country's technological sovereignty. She now heads Geospatial Intelligence & Cyber Security at Roca Defense & Systems and is studying for a degree in Cyber Defence at Argentina's National Defence University (UNDEF).
From 2022 to 2026 she was a full-stack developer at VENG, building geospatial and data platforms for Earth observation, environmental monitoring and scientific analysis, and automating the processing of satellite products. Convinced that technology must serve society, she led a digital literacy programme in La Pampa and mentors at the NASA Space Apps Challenge, Women in Tech and Women STEAM Network, encouraging women's participation in science and technology.
