About
David F. Guajardo is a space operations specialist and science communicator. He founded Mexanauta, a space education platform that brings the commercial space industry closer to the Latin American community through content filmed at aerospace facilities, talks at universities and interviews with astronauts, entrepreneurs and engineers.
He works in analogue astronaut training: as Operations Manager at the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (IIAS) he supports neutral buoyancy spacewalk missions, pressurised suit tests and water survival and emergency egress training. As COO of Blinc Space he led an analogue training camp in the Wadi Rum desert (Jordan) and drove an underwater training partnership with Deep Dive Dubai. He is also a scuba instructor, a skydiving coach and a seed investor in SpaceFund.
