Tech leader from northern Argentina and founder of SaltaDev, the region's tech community. He is AI Software Engineering Manager at FADUA and was previously a software engineer at Santander Tecnología. He brings a key perspective on talent development, building technical communities and the role of software in creating new capabilities.

About
Facundo Padilla is a software engineer from Salta and the founder of SaltaDev, the tech community of northern Argentina, through which he runs meetups, coworking days, talks and hackathons, builds partnerships with companies and supports people learning technology with workshops and mentoring. He also built the salta.dev platform.
Since 2026 he has been AI Software Engineering Manager at FADUA, working on platform engineering and AI agent orchestration. Previously he was a software engineer at Santander Tecnología, building AI-assisted automations and quality-control microservices used at global scale, and worked at Banza and Blimop. He was an instructor in the “1000 Programadores Salteños” programme at UNSa and a mentor at Club Chicas Programadoras. As a student he was named a national outstanding student by INET and received a medal of honour at the National Science Fair.
