About

Facundo Pasquevich is a mechanical engineer from Universidad Nacional de La Plata specialising in structures and the integration of space hardware. Since 2016 he has worked at the Centro Tecnológico Aeroespacial in La Plata, where he led the structural design and mechanical integration of 3U, 6U and 12U CubeSat missions —including a 12U satellite selected by NASA to fly on the Artemis II mission— and served as systems engineer on a 6U mission.

His work spans the full life cycle: requirements, design, finite element analysis, vibration testing and environmental qualification to NASA, ESA and MIL-STD standards, and test-to-model correlation. He has also designed launch vehicle subsystems —fuselage and thrust structures, retention and release systems and separation test benches— and teaches Structures and Rational Mechanics at UNLP. He mentors the Rover Challenge teams.
