Argentina Space was presented on Tuesday, 13 October, at a press conference in Salta, less than a month before the gathering to be held on 11, 12 and 13 November at the Salta Convention Centre. The response was immediate: that day and the next, the event featured on television, radio and news sites across the province.
Speaking for Argentina Space was Alejandro Temporetti Olivera, the event's ambassador and a space law specialist, who described what Salta will experience and why the space industry is already a real opportunity for companies, professionals and students in northern Argentina.
What Argentina Space is
Argentina Space 2026 is the first major national gathering of the space, technology and science industry. It was created to connect science, industry and business opportunities in one place: agencies, companies, universities, startups and investors from Argentina and abroad, over three days at the Salta Convention Centre.
- Talks and panels with national and international speakers from the space industry, science and technology.
- B2B business rounds, with a coordinated agenda and direct access to decision-makers in the sector.
- An exhibition of more than 3,000 m² with companies, agencies and institutions.
- NextGen Space, the pitch stage where the new generation presents its projects.
- Rover Challenge and hackathon, with students who design, build and test their own developments.
With prior registration, access to the exhibition and the talks is free. The B2B business rounds are a separate track with a coordinated agenda.
